Excel 2010 unhides columns automatically when entering formula

I have an issue in Excel 2010 workbook. The workbook has multiple columns that are always hidden, however when I click in a cell to enter a formula (in an already-unhidden column), the hidden columns automatically unhide and they do not re-hide when I am finished with the formula.
Any suggestions to help troubleshoot this issue are much appreciated!

Can you upload the sheet with confidential info removed? It sounds like there's a macro unhiding those sheets. Does your workbook employ macros? It would most likely be an event driven VBA located in the sheet code rather than in a module. (Right click on the sheet tab and "View Code")

    Thank you for the response!
There are no macros and no code when I 'view code'. The spreadsheet is doing it on my boss's computer but not mine - even though they are the same versions. He does not utilize Excel beyond basic formulas - no macros or anything like that. I can't seem to replicate the issue on my PC and any forums I find on the subject have no answers

Could be that, on your bosses computer, the spreadsheet is loaded from a "trusted" area/folder, or that macros have been enabled. Your computer might have your macro security set up differently, for example, always block macros without asking.

If you can't see the code, it may be that the VBA Project is locked for viewing.

Best bet is to upload the workbook with any confidential data removed.

Here is the file. A formula entered in any cell on the FDATA tab results in all columns in that tab being unhidden. Thanks so much for your help! We are stumped!Copy of KONA_FDATA_model2.xls
