Hello.
At school we are studying gambling, me and my friends chose to do rouette, what we have is a list of numbers and we are trying to calculate streaks of all the Red/Black/Odd/Even/High/Low
in column A we have all the numbers then we have pretty much made a table
we want to know what the streaks are for each of them in the setup eg:
-------------------------- R B O E H L
1 in a row
2 in a row
...........
20+ in a row..
is this possible?
Just so you know
1,3,5,7,9,12,14,16,18,19,21,23,25,27,30,32,34,36 are RED and the other numbers are black besides zero
Also the number zero would count for the current streak
Thanks heaps from

Hi, thanks for changing the title.
See what you can do with the attached. When you hit F9, you'll get a fresh set of numbers. The streaks for each quality are calculated in columns E to G. I've added some colour coding to highlight the streaks.
Note: this file uses the RANDBETWEEN() function to create the values in column A. This formula only works in Excel 2003 if you activate the Analysis Toolpak add-in. If you decide to enter the numbers in column A manually, Randbetween() and the Analysis Toolpak will not be reqiured.
Please let me know if this is something you can work with.
cheers

Avoid pie charts with more than two data points. Why? See here (pdf, 559 kb). The only acceptable pie chart is here.
yes we can work with this, but we were also looking for a way to calculate the number of streaks, e.g how many times 1 in a row came up or 2,3,4,5 in a row? i guess this would be difficult?
some other ideas here
