3-D chart losing the fronts of the columns

I have a 2 3-D Column Charts that are driven off the date in cell c2. Starting yesterday, my charts have lost the fronts of the columns. If you type in 2/12/2010, you see the charts as they should be. Put in todays date and you get the screwed up version. I can't figure out what the issue is. Anyone have this experience?

The horizontal axis is automatically deciding to show the columns with a Month or Day interval.
When it changes to Day the columns go skinny.

Set the Scale base unit to Months.

Thanks Andy, that did the trick! Weird that it worked fine for the last 8 1/2 months and just decided to have an issue this week.
