    Red face Microcharts

    Hi,

I have a range of data from Apr to Mar next year for different regions.
I would like to represent the month on month data in a sort of micro charts, that would give a visual representation.

Attached template will help you on this.

Is there a way to represent the data from Apr onwards through micro charts?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Microcharts

    Hi,
remove the X and Y axes, remove the labels and the title and size the chart really, really small.

If you want in-cell charts, you may have to wait for Office 2010, download the beta, or apply one of the commercially available sparklines tools, e.g.

    www.bonavistasystems.com
    www.bissantz.de

or google for Excel sparklines to find a few open source free tools.

Avoid pie charts with more than two data points. Why? See here (pdf, 559 kb). The only acceptable pie chart is here.
