    Conditional_formatting

    Hi,

    In the attached sheet, I would like to highlight the trend month on month. If the any cell value is less than the previous one, it should be highlighted in red else green.

    Also, there are certain KPI's on which decline in cost means good for the business (eg Energy Cost Per Tanant (Normalized), hence they would be green. Any increase on them would be red..how to counter them as well.

    Please assist on this..

    judging by the name of your spreadsheet you are aware of conditional formatting? What problem are you having with this feature? If you want to format one cell based on another cell or cells you will need to use the Conditional Format option "based on a formula" which would be a conditional statement eg A1=5
