Thread: help with spreadsheet for pool league

Hi ... not too sure if this is the right place to post so if it's wrong please let me know.
Can someone please please please help this completely computer illerate divvy ...
I'm trying to set up a pool league for our local youth group & need a league table that after I put the names, fixtures & scores etc updates itself to show league positions, results & points etc.
I've downloaded a football league table that shows 3 tabs at the bottom, (initial setup, league table & fixtures & results) & seems to work but the problem I'm having is changing the points formula from 3 pts for a win, 1 pt for a draw & 0 pt for a loss.
the format for the pool league is best of 3 frames with a point gained for every frame won (so even if they lose 2-1 the loser still gets 1 point & the winner gets the other 2).
so theres my problem.
I've tried looking it up on the web but this formula stuff is way beyond me, yeah i know, THICK lol but computers weren't even invented when i went to school with Fred, Barney, Wilma & Betty
I (& the kids from the youth group) would be EXTREMELY & ETERNALLY grateful if someone could help us fix this problem so we can get up & running

I will need more information:
Number of pool players
Number of pool tables
Number of games played per week
Number of weeks to play

P.S
I think you graduated a year or two before me. I went to school with Pebbles and Bam-Bam. LOL
