I was thinking about trying something when I return to work on Monday. Before I waste my time, thought I would ask the question first. I want to build a program with excel basically in the background. Is it possible to do this with an active form? Lets say for an example I want to show the form with data trends that updated every minute. In the background I would have the actual refreshed values in excel connected like a basic web query, just going out and grabbing the new values. I know I can do this in excel, but my question is can forms be active (or refresh data) and display a trend? Then maybe minimize the actual excel spreadsheet leaving only the form visible to the user.
