How to create table with percentage

Dear all
I need help as per attached file
Can i create a detailed table to show me percentages of how many males and females did the course based on their levels? Thanks a lot

Hi,

The formulas work in the sample file you provided.
You would need to determine the differences between your "real data" and the sample you provided in order to get it to work.

Is the sample a realistic example of the "real data"?

I am a little confused.
I've re-arranged the data using a Pivot Table and based on this all the percentages are 100%.
There are no females and males in the same section and same level.

Sorry, I realize now that I neglected to inform you that in column C that contains the "Male" and "Female" you need to remove the extra space after each of the words.
Or add the spaces to the formula. :D

In column C you have "Male " and "Female ".

Attached is an updated version of your example file.

I also adjusted your Pivot Table values to show as percentages. They compare to the formula results.
