    formatting cells as text

    How do I get the zeros out of the cells that I am not using?

    Possible solution:
    Select the cells with the zeros you are not using and press delete.

    There is no such thing as a problem, only a temporary lack of a solution


    In formulas,you might need to replace ; with , depending on your XL version

    Another possible solution is to not show zeros. To do this (in 2003), follow these five steps:

    1. Select the tab you do not want to see the zero's on
    2. From the Tools meno select Options
    3. From the Options dialog box, click the View tab
    4. Unselect the Zero values check box
    5. Click OK
