    Creating A Master Formula

    Hi Everyone

This is my first post on this site so I hope I am posting in the correct Forum.

I am currently working on a project that requires me to come up with a MASTER FORMULA if that is even possible.

What I would like to know is if anyone knows if it is possible to create a formula that will change more than on cell on a worksheet?

Each cell to be changed will have a different input number so coping the formula will not work.

What I need to be able to do is change certain numbers in the master formula and have it adjust the entire worksheet appropriately.

If anyone knows if this can be done and how to do it I would love to hear from you.

    Thanks

This is like asking if it's possible to paint a house. Answer - maybe. Depends on what you actually have in mind for the final result.

You'll have to post a sample sheet showing what things look like (no formulas, just manually enter things). Then a second sheet showing what you might change and how it would affect the appearance of the rest of the sample sheet. Then we'll see if formulas can be used to automate that process.

You can have one cell whose value affects multiple formulas, but one formula can only affect one cell - the one it is in.
    Hope that helps.
