    conditional formatting

    dear sir,with my regards,in my workbook i have in some sheets about (2000-3000) rows with data,i am using CF for cells in column (C) to colour the negative nos. by red ,is it possible in excel 2003 to signing (C3)for example which doesnot have any values by any colour to warn me that is a red colour in one of the cells in column (C) with out coming down to lookfor.

    If I have understood your question correctly, you could place a formula in cell C3 such as

    Code:
    =MIN(C4:C65536)
    If you do have negative numbers further down the sheet in column C, the value of C3 would also be negative and you could chose to use conditional formatting on cell C3 to highlight this.

    Dear sir,with my appreciation ,i want to ask you ( if i have #N/A in this column ,how can i ignore it or consider it as (0),because i got this sign when i use your formula.
