Hi
i need to color code a cell, so half cell yellow to show that i am in planning phase and the rest pink to show that i am in implentation phase. is this possible.
Its possible in excel 2007..
For other version.. i this method... not a good way but serve my purpose
i take two cell and treat them as one... by formatting
now one cell i put yellow and other pink...

if the half a cell colour split can be vertical you could put 2 cells together one yellow one pink to make it look like a single cell

I rarely return to a problem once I've answered it so make sure you clearly define what the trouble is.
I'd recommend you to use patterns instead. This way you can keep the color of the cell and just add different pattern if u need to show that this is the one in different stage.
