Thread: Something wrong with my formula?

Hi again

Now I need help. the attachement shows an example file of quiz results.

It has the correct answer under "fasit" and the users answers from line 5.
On the right is the score for each question as well as every users total score.

The problem is question 5 (Nr 5) in the scores. the formel iv written doesnt return the right score. Can anyone see something i dont see? Dont know how to fix it.

F3: "Barberini " -- note the trailing space
F5: "Barberini" -- note no trailing space

It must have taken you some time to put in these formulae, be sure to read up on absolute / relative referencing, ie:

K5: =--(TRIM(B5)=TRIM(B$3))
copy across entire matrix (K5:R55)
