    Embedding image thumbnails in excel

    Hi
I'm new to this forum, please excuse my ignorance.
My producer uses excel to find which of our images are selling best in libraries across the world. There is a correlation between shapes and colours and their sales so it would be very useful to have a thumbnail embedded along with the information.
Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how.
    Kind regards

Re: Embedding image thumbnails in excel

Images are not embedded into Excel. They exist as a separate object "floating" above the worksheet.

Rather than bloat the workbook with a lot of images, keep them in a folder and use hyperlinks to the image.

Optionally, you can use a cell comment to hold an image by setting the fill color of the comment to use a picture. However, maintaining proper aspect rations are problematic with this option.
