Hello!
I am hoping you guys can help me out. I am trying to build a formula that matches specific text from 2 different cells, then pulls different criteria from each cell and matches it into a third cell.
For example.
In the first cell, along with other things, I have an IP address(e.g.15.158.15.15), a machine address(e.g. 1800.0529.c87f), and the interface they are connecting through(e.g. FastEthernet0/0).
In the second cell, (also along with other things) I have a machine address and a port on a switch they are connected to(e.g. Fa0/1).
What I want to do is using that common machine address within the 2 columns, find out which IP addresses are attached to which switch ports.
I have attached an example spreadsheet.
I have been pulling by hair out on this one, so any help you can offer would be truly appreciated.
Thank you for your time!

Copy column A and B each to a new sheet. Use Data > text to columns to split the text into separate columns. Use a basic VLOOKUP...
