I am having trouble with getting graphs to update automatically when new data is entered. I have one graph made and it is working fine but when I try to set up another graph in another worksheet, within the same file, I can't seem to get the next graph to update automatically when new data is entered. I used the same formulas that I used to set up the first worksheet (using the new worksheet in the formulas). Does anyone have any ideas on what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!
Can you post your workbook so that I can take a look at it?
By this, do you mean you are appending data to a series or you are changing values within the series? If you are adding more data to a series, Excel does not automatically recognize the new data in the range unless the series is based on a dynamic named range or you have padded the series range with extra cells to account for new entries.I am having trouble with getting graphs to update automatically when new data is entered.
You might take a look a this link on Dynamic Charts
Optionally, seeing you have Excel 2007, you can base the chart series on a Table and the chart should adjust to new entries in the table. See the Excel Help on tables. One the Ribbon Menu, it is on the Insert tab.

Do you know . . . ?

Here is my file. I tried following an online tutorial and it worked fine but when I tried to add another graph in the same file it wouldn't update automatically or even accept the formulas I tried.
Creating the graph from a table worked perfectly for what I wanted! Thanks!
