Question Creating forms to feed into spreadsheets and then summarising in a final spreadhseet

    Hi guys,
I have limited experience of Excel and can get my head around the basics and think I may have more than I can deal with here.

Basically, I need to create a form that people can complete which when submitted will create a new worksheet from a template. That new worksheet then feeds into a summary worksheet based upon the date the form was submitted. The new worksheet and summary sheets need to have pie charts of key data on them.

    The spreadsheet template is attached.

    cheers guys!

Thanks for your complete lack of help chaps, allthough you were quick enough to tell me my title was wrong. I'll be off now and deleting my account.

If you did not get help, consider why that might be. We are here 24 hrs a day, posting all the time. For us not to reply to a thread, it is probably because your question is not comprehensible, you are asking to do your work for you without you having tried, you are asking us to do way too much. Consider breaking your question in multiple threads and show that you have at least tried to solve it yourself or made some sort of effort.

In any case it is your privilege if you choose to "delete" your account.

    Good Luck.

Re: Creating forms to feed into spreadsheets and then summarising in a final spreadhs

I am not looking for anyone to do it for me, I am merely looking for help in creating the form and how to get it to update the summary sheet, I am quite happy to do the work myself it is just that I am a comlete beginner when it comes to using forms - that is why I put it in the new users section. I can't show any workings as I do not know where to start with it

To me it looks like you are asking for some consulting work to be done for you.

If I were you, I would start over in a new thread and ask "how to do" one thing.

Then test it, make sure it works, say thanks.

Google and try the next step yourself... post another thread, if required, saying what you tried and ask assistance on how to make it work.. get response, say thanks, and repeat for next step.

And post in relevant forums, i.e charting, programming, worksheet functions as appropriate for each question.

This will improve chances of receiving help from an array of experts willing to help you succeed.

You've received advise on how to ask the question to get help, have you deleted your account or shall I?

There's nothing in your post or example to indicate what data you need to enter, where to nor how to summarise. Most of us aren't psychic
    Hope that helps.
