Hi,
Request help on the following situation.
I'm looking at an auto generation of a series based on a reference cell. For.e.g., if A1 is 24, I would require auto generation of 1,2,3. . .24 in column B1 to B24.If A1 was changed to 36, than the series should automatically generate to B36 and so on.

In B1, put this formula and copy it down as far as you'll ever want the numbers to appear.
=IF(ROW()>$A$1, "", ROW())
