Is there a workaround for hyperlinks in a shared worksheet?

    Hi there,

I have a shared workbook and want to link to pdf's I have saved on the network. I know you can not hyperlink a shared workbook unless you unshare and save - but due to multiple daily users, this is not an option.

    Is there a workaround??

    Thank you -

Not really. Shared workbooks have many limitations, including the one you've come across. But on top of that, shared workbooks are notoriously unreliable and will eventually start to act funny and become corrupt.

The best advice anyone can give you is to not use them in the first place.

Rather than inserting a hyperlink can you not use the HYPERLINK formula?

That said I agree with teylyn about the use of shared workbooks.
    Cheers
