Hi Guys, I am new to this site and I would be very grateful if anyone can help me with this problem I am having, I have spent hours and as yet not resolved it.
I have a Check Box in a cell and I want the check box to do the following.
If the check box is ticked I want 2 cells to be multiplied together and another amount added to the answer.
If the check box is not ticked I only want the 2 cells to be multiplied.
Thank you anyone for your input, I am sure the answer is fairly simple and I will kick myself when I get the answer.
kindest regards
Steve
Welcome to the forum.
Assuming you mean a forms checkbox on a worksheet, the linked cell is either true or false. Use that in your IF formula.

Hi shg, many thanks for your reply, with lots of tries and web searching I was abel to get cells to show or hide text and if the check boxes were ticked or not get other cells to give different results.
once again, many thanks
Steve
Assuming that means you got it sorted, you're welcome.
