Delete whole row

Hi Guys,

I need a small help from you guys, I have a excel file where i am importing data from different files. What i need is to delete the whole row when the user write "Done" on the last column called 'AT'.

Like this:

Name ID Status

Abdul 1 Done
Rag 2 Done
Roh 3 Undone
Zai 4 Done

So the result would be like this

Roh 3 Undone.

When we run the macro.

Kindly help me in this matter.

Switch on Autofilter. Filter on column AT for "Done". Delete the visible rows. Switch off Autofilter. Finished

why should it be an macro if you have a very good solution offered in #2 by TMS?

Maybe you can also reply in your answer that you have an solution on another forum (and post that solution on this forum).

OK, a macro ... that uses Autofilter and deletes the visible rows ...

Seems like you've upset the people over on that other forum.

You probably need to take some time out to read the rules on all the forums where you ask questions. A lot of the same people go to all the same places so it will not go unnoticed.

New quick method:
Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

Or you can use this way:

How to mark a thread Solved
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save


You may also want to consider thanking those people who helped you by clicking on the little star at the bottom left of their reply to your question.
