Excel VBA evaluate if Cell in column D is empty and Cell in column A is not empty

Hi, I have a requirements in vba excel to evaluate if cell value in column D is empty and if cell in column A has a value then i need to fill up the column D with a string 'IN-TRANSIT". May I ask your assistance on how to do this in vba macro. thank you in advance.

THanks for the reply. Please correct me if im wrong. the data is coming from another workbook and dump to the activeworkbook. that's why if ever i will add the formula this will be overwrite.

Btw, kindly please take a look my other thread from another forum. I have another requirements hoping you can help me to do this. thanks in advance.
