Deleting Duplicate data with a twist.

Im not sure if this is a formula solution or VBA or Macro. Open to all Solution methods.

Basically I have a large database and in that database are duplicate entries. However I can't use Excels - 'Delete Duplication' function.
The reason being. I need to record the number of entries a record has and only record once the values noted against it. So say a company has 5 entries at 20,000 I need to know that there a 5 entries and the total is 20,000 (not 100,000) if it picks up the duplicates.

However if there is a duplicate company name and the values are different. this is ignored.

Please left me know if I need to explain more clearer. Appreciate any help. At the moment I am deleting the duplication manually every month.

I did think maybe a pivot table to calculate the total number of entries per company. Then run Excel's duplication tool?
