macro need to copy & paste the date mentioned in a column for all the values

Hi CHAMPS,

I have a data set, say A:Z in which the dates are entered in A column.......
After date in A1, i have the data for the particular date below

eg: 12/10/2014 in A1 and data in A2:Z100

then 2nd data and 3rd data for other dates.

two or one blank rows is inserted to diferentiate data sets with dates.

Now i need to insert in A column and add the corresponding date to the data set.

eg: 12/10/2014 should be in A2:A100 for the for the first data set and so on..

In Cell A1 you have 26/11/2014 in the sample file.
You said that data will be in A2:Z100.
But actually only Column A is used in the sample file.
Col B to Col Z have no data in the sample file.

And..first set of data is from A2:A670 in the sample file and it does not stop with Row 100.
.
In the sample file, after some sets one blank row is inserted, but in other sets more than one blank rows are inserted.
Why this difference?

You already have data in A1.

So, are you planning to overwrite the existing data in the range A1:A670?

Instead of mentioning that you want to insert a particular set of data in Col A, it is better if you give detailed description of what data you have, what you actually want to enter in Excel, what you will be retrieving from that Excel Sheet etc., then some expert will surely help you.
Mention only your problem.
