Please explain the goal of the macro.

Anything I enter into Column E is deleted. No run time error.

    Hi Logit,

Thank you. The column ‘D’ has a list of ‘Item’ and I want to select the particulars in column ‘E’ using indirect dv. In the attached workbook the code is in sheet module of ‘Data’ sheet. If the user enters a inward number in column ‘B’ then I want to have a dv list in the columns respectively.

    Thanking you,

    Re: Getting run-time error 1004 application-defined of object-defined error

    Hi Logit,

I have already visited the site. I can do it manually but using code I'm getting error. I used cell address '$D2' first but it was giving error so I used offset function with indirect. I'm not understanding what's is wrong so I requested you to find out the problem and suggest me the solution positively.

Except this indirect dv all the dvs are working fine. Please guide me.

    Thanking you,
