Macro to extract data from multiple workbooks to a single sheet

    Hi all,

New to the forum and struggling with a macro.

I have multiple workbooks that i need to have data extracted from a single sheet within each workbook and copied to a master sheet on a monthly basis.
Same amount of columns in each workbook, although the rows will be a variable amount due to how much work each individual does.

    Would appreciate any help.

    Hi
What is the name of the sheet and range of columns you wish to copy (B to M?) and range of rows ( 25 to 75?)

This code will prompt for a directory to import from. Then it will loop throught the workbook in that folder

    Hope that helps.

    Ravi,

The name of the individual sheets within each workbook will be the month names.
Range of columns would be A to W and the range of rows would be variable, but starting from row 4 to the end of the data.

    Thanks

Macro to extract data from multiple workbooks to a single sheet

    Hi,

I have project metric data in multiple files under many heading, I am trying to consolidate all the data into one excel though I could make dashboard(graphs), showing the progress going up and down of the project.

Could any one help me in writing the macro to extract the date into one sheet.

    Please find the attached Files
    * MR_Project Name_june 2011.xls (would be typically multiple file of different project.data highlighted in yellow is to be consolidated in metric dashboard for all projects.)
    * Metric dashboard (would be a file where I wish to consolidate.)

    Regards,
    Nidhi
