    Code Execution has been interrupted

    Hi all,

It's been a little while. I've got an interesting new problem. Now..when I run any of my macros, I get the following message..

    "Code Execution has been interrupted".

I'm not sure why I'm getting this message but it happens everytime I run ANY macro. Note that if I hit "Continue" every time it gives me the option, I am able to successfully run the macro, but obviously, I shouldn't have to do this. Any thoughts?

    Thanks much

No one is pressing the escape key (unless they are invisible )

Did I accidentally select some feature that says to automatically interrupt my code?

I did read the link to the other post you referenced and did put that line in, which worked...but I do I now have to manually paste that line of code into the beginning of each macro I have? And all future ones as well? How did this happen in the first place?

I'm really baffled by this one.

    Thanks

Re: Code Execution has been interrupted

I've heard of this happening, but never had the problem, duugg, so I can't offer a different suggestion.

I would restart Excel, reboot and restart Excel, do detect and repair, and reinstall Excel. Then if all that failed, I'd use the EnableCancelKey property. And if you do end up doing that, make sure your macros are well debugged beforehand.

See VBE Help for EnableCancelKey; it shows how to divert to an error handler instead of completely ignoring it.

    I simply re-booted!

    Glad you got it sorted.

I should have added I would run CodeCleaner as the third step, before Detect and Repair.
