Unhappy Why can't I open my sheet on another computer?

    Hello,

My program runs on my home computer (Office2007) and college (office2010). However, when I open the workbook on the computer that it needs to be open (Office 2007 also), it simply does not compile.
It says it didn't find the library. It selects a variable (even if it's a counter "i") and shows a message like this: "function not found in the library".

Have a look at References in the Tools menu of the VB Editor. Are any marked missing?
    Hope that helps.

Now I can't go there confirm it, but it could help me, thanks.
However, though work on that computer, I can't ask each user to open the VBA editor for macros run. They think they did it when the they activate macros.

Do you think it could happen because I did not use "Option Explicit"? I don't understand why it's so necessary.

You need to check the problem computer and see if any references are missing. Then post back

    Hi again,
I read that Ref Edit Control is absent, what does it mean? How can we solve? Thanks

Does your workbook use a refedit control?

Actually I don't know what is it.

Excel selects, for example, a combobox or the function Mid() when it shows the alert

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
