Hide rows on one worksheet by using a range on another worksheet

    Hi there,

I really have no skills in Excel and desperately need some assistance to complete a report before tomorrow morning.

I have a workbook with 3 sheets. I have copied Sheet 3 using a macro and called it Sheet 4.

I need assistance with referencing a specific range on Sheet 1 to hide rows on Sheet 4 (Report sheet) automatically ie not using the auto filter option. The intended result is that only those rows which have data are shown with the others hidden on the Report sheet.

Explanation of the sheets in my workbook.

Sheet 1 contains columns which a count of data across a specific range in Sheet 3 and returns an incremental result.

For example Sheet 3 contains columns with date headers in this example the 4 weeks ending on a Friday in July 2012 from columns D to G (with data starting from Row 6).

Sheet 1 column E (from E6:E) contains a count of whether or not data has been added to columns D to G in Sheet 3.

What I need help with is a macro which will check Sheet 1 column E (E6:E) and if the count in that column is = 0, hide the exact same row on Sheet 4 (Report sheet) (which is an exact copy of sheet 3, the data entry sheet).

    Thank you so much.

    S*

Related - more of a subset of the original request - perhaps explained more clearly - I am not sure. As I said, I am new to Excel and this is really doing my head in. If someone can assist with this then I am happy for the other to be deleted. Thank you.
