    calendar help

Hi, Your help would be very much appriciated. Can you have a table with dates and purchases then transfer those dates and purchases to a visual basic excel calendar.

So if for example I have a direct debit coming off next month could I have that direct debit name pop up on a visual basic calendar?

    Regards

    Peter K

    Re: calendar help

I have a calendar file that can do this. It doesn't use any macros, though. Are you interested?

    Re: calendar help

In the attached file you can list the date and description of an event in any order on the Activities sheet.

On the Calendar sheet you can select the month and year of interest using the drop-downs in K3 and K4, and the calendar will automatically adjust. It will display events on the appropriate day, with up to 7 events/activites per day.

    Hope this helps.

    Re: calendar help

I just found this by following other links - it's wonderful! I'd like to use it however is it possible to see a full rolling 12 mos of the calendar on the view? I'd like to be able to choose to view 3/6/12 or one at a time to make sure there aren't any conflicts in a file I'm using for scheduling.

Yes, that is possible, but you should read the Forum Rules - you should not ask a question in someone else's thread. Instead, you should start your own thread, with a link back to here.

    Re: calendar help

The years that you can choose are controlled by the data validation drop-down in cell K4, so select that cell then click on Data | Data Validation and in the Source box under List you will see the years defined separated by commas. Just add what you need then click OK.

    Hope this helps.
