Location of files using Macro

HI
I want to search a number of strings in a folder and its subfolder.
I also need to fetch the location of the same.

Like
I have a file named pulkit

i want to search it in folder A and its subfolder .
and need the location in excel against the name of the file.

i want to do that for alot of files.

HI sorry but this doesnt work for me...


i have names of files of various types doc xls etc to be searched in column A in excel and they are to be searched in drives/folder/sub folder
i am supposed to search all and provide location of them (latest).

see if u can help me out with it.
