greater than 3 conditional formats WITH an IF statment using VBA

    Hi,

I have used the following code to have more than 3 conditional formats before....

Please Login or Register to view this content.
However I now need to add an if statment to it, this is where my problem lays...

I have 2 differnt sets of targets for the same metric. One is a grad bay agent, the other is a non grad bay agent. click link for a test sheet Test sheet excel forum.xls

So although the 2 differnt types of agent appear in the same list, there targets and hence the conditional format (determined by the target deck tab) are different, hence a grad agent and a non grad agent can have the same acheivment in say 38 day retention, but one should be conditionally formated green as they are in grad bay, but the non grad bay agent with the same acheivment will be say yellow, as this is where they fall in the non grad target deck....

hope this makes sence thus far!

if not please ask and ill try to explain in more detail!

had this in my "to-do" list now for like 2 weeks and my boss is chasing me for it... YAWN...

    any help really appreciated!

    thanks

    James

I can understand that you need a solution but cross posting without to provide a link is not acceptable.

Becides this already a man tried hard to helps you.

    Sorry,

I must be missing something? are ozgrid and excelforum the same then? I have had to sign up to this forum separatly from ozgrid?

Im just trying to reach as many folk as possible? why cant I cross post on 2 (as far as I can tell) separate forums?

Am I to link every forum I post on, on each forum? this seems a little.... strange?

    thanks

    James

    Hi James,

welcome to the forum. You can cross-post, just provide a link to the other thread, so people don't do unnecessary work.

When you signed up, you agreed to some rules. Did you read these? I think NO.

So rule number 8 of THIS forum is this.

    8. Don't cross-post without a link. Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. You'll find people are disinclined to respond to cross-posts because they may be wasting their time solving a problem that has been solved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post. Expect cross-posts without a link to be closed.
Also read this for understanding why you have to don't do this.
