Question SQL Database or Access Database?

    Hi Guys,

I'm looking to implement a database for my Data, and using Excel display, modify, add etc data in this database as required.

I am weighing up which software package to go for - Access or SQL.

I am concerned that Access (2013) wont give me the performance I require. I will have approximately 20 simultaneous users of the database file.

Let me know your thoughts on which I should develop my database on.

    Regards
    Jordan

if SQL Server is an option I'd suggest you use it as it should perform better and be up-scalable. you could start with SQL express as a trial

if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to

    Thanks JosephP,

I've decided to go down the SQL path for the reason you posted above!
