Get notification ( pop up) when some body fills excel

Dear All,

Please help on this.

Is there any possibility of getting a notification or Pop up to us when some other fills some thing on excel sheet which placed in server ?

This automatic notification if we can see there on desktop, like we get when we got a new email.

If its a paid template also no problem. Please help where i can get these type of customization.

yes sir,

It a shared work book. The idea is if users fills the excel then admins should get a notification automatically once user saved it. There will be many users.

Until and unless if you DON'T save your open workbook excel will not aware of the new entry, so your file needs some timer to save and check for new entries but user can do entry at any point of time and the timer should also intersect between the user entry time that is the headache here (I believe)

We can make it one can enter at a time. For remaining its read only, after one finished the other will enter.

but after they entering and saving. Is there any way to get the notification automatically at my desktop like outlook email notification ?

The headache is not about the restricting the users, eventhough the users have entered the data in a cell and it will get reflected to all when the user and others hit ctrl+s. So just thinking about the timer whether it needs to be set for 10 sec or even less than that to check the newer entry.

10s is really fine. Even a minute also after saving will work.
