    coping data in a macro

    sample.xlsx

hi in attached file i want to turn sheet 1 into sheet 2
so i need to first take the number in brackets in sheet one and paste them to sheet to in right column and then take the desceiption and the end balance as well.

this is only done where the is a value bigger than 0.00 in end balance

    is this possible

    Hi,

I'd be inclined to use some helper columns like H:J in the attached, then either just use a simple Data Advanced Filter copy to another location with a criteria range for Ending Balance <>0, and filter the H:J range to sheet 2.

Alternatively copy H:J to sheet2 as values, then filter on the Ending balance to show all zeros, select all the filtered rows and delete them.

    Hi,

Don't see why not. Formulae may contain other workbook references as well as sheet and cell refs.
