    xlstart

I have a sheet that i need to load when xlstarts, i did everything correctly
and it has been working fine. Now all of a sudden it wont load. The file is
still in the xlstart, the name is employees, if i rename the file it starts
fine. I have created a brand new file and named it employees and it wont
load, if i rename it it does load. If i just click on the file named
employees it will start on its own, It just wont start from xlstart. This
has to be something simple, but i'm at a loss.

    Help!

    Re: xlstart

    Are you using xl2002+?

xl2002+ has the abililty to quarantine what it thinks are bad workbooks.

They can keep track of them so that it doesn't even try to open them.

If you look under Help|About MS Excel, you'll see a button called: "Disabled
    Items...".

Check under there to see if it's marked not to open. You can enable it there,
    too.

If the workbook is really bad, you may want to delete that copy and put a copy
of your backup version into your XLStart folder.
