    FAO Mat P:son

    Hi there,

If you have a minute, would you mind taking a look at a problem I have with
that footer coding? I have posted the problem in reply to the article from a
few days ago - it's easier to find if you do a search on "renaming a range"
    or something like that.

Look forward to hearing from you,
    Thanks a million

Pls don't be terribly surprised if you don't get a prompt answer.

    Dear Don,

I presume that is because I wasn't polite in my post so I do hope Mat P:son
    will accept my apologies.

I always take the utmost care to be courteous and respectful in my posts but
looking at my post now, it was indeed rather abrupt and as Mat and myself had
exchanged quite a few posts last week for my problematic coding, I may have
addressed him in a manner that was too informal.

So once again, if you're reading this Mat P:son, I do hope I didn't offend
you and please accept my sincere apologies.

Don, many thanks for pointing that out to me. I shall take better care in
    the future.

    Regards,
    rm81

My comment had nothing to do with politeness.
It is customary to append to the post to which you refer. There was no
apparent connection to your post. There was no sample and you requested that
the reader do a search to find your problem. Some would prefer not to do a
    search to find your problem.

    Re: FAO Mat P:son

Sorry - I had no idea one could append to another post (something which I
still do not know how to do) which is why I suggested the search method on
the basis of the original post's subject header. Furthermore, as the post
was directed to Mat P:son, I decided not to put the sample in the post as I
thought it would be easier for Mat P:son to consult the original post to have
    all the history.

In any case, your advice has been noted.

    Thanks and regards,
