Pull mutil values from one LOOKUP formula

I am looking for a way to pull info based on a name. I have the week schedule
with the employee's number of hours worked. I want to be able to after i make
the weeks schedule the look and see how any hours a employee is going to get
but i want it on another sheet. Can anyone help with the formula. Also each
day has four different shift. Im am using office excel 2003

Can you please repost with a description of what the schedule looks
like? I'm having a hard time following what you are asking, but I
assume that the employee name is repeated multiple times on the
schedule??? If that is the case, I would use SUMIF and not VLOOKUP.
VLOOKUP will only pick the first match in the list, and it has not
    built-in aggregation AFAIK.

    Thanks,
    Johnny
