Question entering number in Text cells

    Hi all,
i have provided validations on cell as Text of length 20.
Now when i enter integer in that cell eg(1111) it gives it in Exponential form.
does anyone know why is this happening?

    Glen,

Sounds like you have it formatted that way - it's not a product of the validation. Select the validated range, then go to Format > Cells > General

does it really happen at such a small number as 1111 ? Normally this happens when integer number is bigger than 11 digits.
Try formatting the cell to format cells>Number>Decimal Places=0 ( default is 2, just change to 0 )
