Thanks for all the help

I just wanted to thank everyone on the forum, and for the existence of the forum. Over the last couple of months you have helped me write macros (and taught me VBA coding along the way). The macros are saving me a great deal of time as I am analyzing 100 sets of data, each with 3 input files.

Before using macros this work was taking me many hours to manually read-in the data, summarize the 100 sets and copy into Powerpoint. This is all done via macros now and takes just a couple of minutes.

Again thanks to all involved.

Cam

Good post.
Likewise, I have received help beyond expectation.

The two things that strike me most are the amount of time some are willing to donate to help others and the lack of ethics I see from many receiving that help when it comes to thanking them.

Hey I was planning on writing a thanks note late this week, but after seeing this thread I think I shall just add it here.

Like the others I really want to say thanks to everyone from this forum who has helped me over the last 6 months. As of August last year I had no idea on how to use VBA, and was given the task of writing two analysis programs for the company, I could not have done it without the help I recieved.

I am now moving departments so am not sure my new boss will let me play around with coding but I definately want to keep up the skills I learnt so I may still be on here asking for help occasionally.

Thanks again.

Robyn

I likewise really apprecate everyones help! Being a CPA it takes a lot longer for me to learn VBA because I don't get to use it often enough to remember what I learn sometimes. However, I am working on that!

So please be patient as I make mistakes posting. It's certainly not intentional & I will take care of any problems brought to my attention.

Thanks a million, mikeburg

Thumbs up Thank you!

I taught myself VBA and have two tomes that help me a lot in answering my own questions. If I can't figure out a problem myself and my books don't help (or I don't have them with me), I check the MVP websites. If those don't give me the info I need then I come here and most of the time I get a quick response.

I'd like to thank those more talented than I in lending their assistence in the VBA realm.

My Thanks Too

I can only echo the many posts above this one.
I've found this forum invaluable over the last couple of years now and have learnt so much from my humble noobie beginnings.
It only works because of the fantastic attitude of the peopel who use it and moreover to those who spend the time to help others with their queries.

Long may it continue and my thanks again.

Tris

My Thanks as Well!

While I do try to give a personal "Thank You" whenever I have a question answered or receive actual coding that resolves my issue, we can never say Thank You enough to all of the MVPs who volunteer their time and knowledge to help others.

Ditto...

I can only express my thanks - just like everyone else.

You guys (& those on other forums) have saved myself (and my colleagues) a vast amount of time by helping me to automate some of the more time-consuming tasks - as well as teaching me a little along the way...

You are our heroes

Thanks.
