Adding Greek letters

Does anyone know how I could add greek letters into my excel VBA program so it would come out on the cell. I have tried the alt- number short cut and I get nothing in the VBA editor. I also tried to cut and paste from the characteer table and nothing. Is there something I am missing or do I have to do something special with the program.

Assuming you're not on a Mac, this will list the upper and lowercase Greek letters and those that come between.
