I use a slider bar to adjust the values, first I use the one in column O then in P, then maybe go back and adjust again to fine tune to get the values in row 35 to macth the numbers in columsn 16 and 17. Would VBA be able to check and do this automatically??
This would be great if it could. Not much in VBA? The formuals are alittle sloppy but you may be able to figure it out.
Hi
Do you mean the numbers in row 35 not 34 have to be in the boundary ranges? If so, then do you have a specific final output you expect to see somewhere as a final output total? Depending on what you are trying to achieve, you may be able to use SOLVER to achieve your final output and not need the slider bars, or VBA.

I assume solver is an addin - I will see if that helps. Any good reading out there on it???
Also, I try to stay away from addins since others have soem much trouble with them...I run into so much trouble when others try to use my sheets...they have the hardest time trying to enable macros......
I just tried goalseeker, worked good but the one value could change and goalseek would not let me put a cell in there or that would have worked.
Gonna try the addin and also VBA. Any VBA suggestions??
I tried a simple code but it does not work properly. See new file with code.
Suggestions??
See if this will work and if there will be any bugs..
Hi
Still not really sure what you are trying to achieve. If you just make the values in row 35 random between the ranges, what does that achieve? Is there some final cell check that has to be a certain value when all the calcs are done? If so where, and what does it have to relate to??
