Database and Excel

i have a DB2K database table with few values...
i want to connect this table with the excel and check if the value in the listbox of userform exists in that table....

i dont have knowledge linking with the databases and excel.......
if anybody know how to link with Access database table with excel,let me know how to do.......so that i can change my tables
please help.....
