Find in text - and copy/append to other sheet

I have the 2 attached (unstructured files). I need to be able to calculate and sort from the decimal numbers in the txt files. Hence I must import some of the info in a structured way into another sheet that collects the info from multiple txt files of each of these types and collect everything in one sheet, which I can then do some datamining on.

In the file: Foetex (som Netto) uge 14 - Dump fra mail direkte.txt
What I need is to have a macro copy the first words of text (until the first numerical character) into the first column A, then the next decimal number into column B, and repeat until end of text.

    In the file: SuperBest.....txt
Similarly I need the same done to the Netto*.txt file. This file contains item-text in a separate line (an entirely new problem), I need to copy paste the string of text on first line and the rest of textlines in file. Then I need to discard some text and instead look for the following string 'a.' and copy the immediate following decimal no. into the column B..., and repeat until end of text.

I need to find a way to do this soon. Thanks a million.

    Greetings from Denmark.

    excaliburst,

    Welcome to the ExcelFormun board.

See the attached workbook "Import TXT data and create reports - excaliburst - SDG.xls"

I have imported the data from the two txt files into separate sheets.

Please manually copy the data to your requested format for the first 40 rows (see the instructions in bold and yellow).

Then I will have a better idea as to what you are looking for.

Then attach the updated workbook to your post.

    Hi Stan,

Thanks a lot for your efforts. It dawned on me that there might be some more info in the SuperBest simple file than I thought there might.

I have explained this in the worksheet.

I'm looking very much forward to seing what you come up with. Thanks for a speedy reply.

    Thanks a lot

Best regards and have a nice day.

    Morten

    excaliburst,

See the updated attached workbook "Import TXT data and create reports V1 - excaliburst - SDG.xls".

I am sure you will be satisfied with the two macros, so far.

I have gone over the time I usually spend on solving requests on sites like ExcelForum.

It dawns on me that in the text-lines there are actually qunatities and units and no of packages. Could these be extracted into columns. I realize this is asking for even more work from you. But if you have an idea of how I could do it I'd love to hear how it could be done.
Yes, the remained of the work can be done.
