Looking up arrays and returning entire rows if match is found

    Hi.

Please excuse my English. I'll try to explain this as clearly as I can.

I need to find a way to compare values from a small set (Prospect sheet in the xl file) and compare them to a "large" database (Database sheet in xl file).

What I want to do is to compare the columns called "Component #"

Lets say I want to do this with the first thing in the Prospect sheet.
    It has ID 259-159
Now I want excel to look in the database sheet for any matches in the component column.
    So far so good.
Now comes the tricky part: I want excel to return the entire row if it should find a match. Maybe its even possible to omit the components columns that dont match because they wouldnt be too interesting,
Im interested in the ID, Name, Customer, Delivery Year, Delivery Period and of course components that match.

I have tried my best with the LOOKUP functions but I havent been able to do this.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

It would also be really cool if there could be a button or something next to each ID which would perform this comparing thing when clicked.

Okay.. Thats it.. I hope this is understandable.. Would be very cool if someone could help me with this. Havent found anything in Excel Bible 2003.

    Btw, I use Excel 2003.

EDIT: It might also be cool to be able to restrict the lookup results to a certain Delivery Year and/or Delivery Period.

Hmm.. Im not really sure what this macro does exactly.
I probably didnt explain clearly enough.

I manually made what the end result should look like more or less
and I attached a picture of it.

Hope it explains this a little better..

Thanks for the reply though.. Appreciate it!
