Right heres the question:
Is it possible to take two postcodes from a sheet in excel, paste them into any route finding software i.e. Google Maps, Multimap or google earth, search the route and paste the results back to excel?
I think i need a geek to come to my rescue on this one!!
Any help is appreciated!!!
Hello hodpy62,
It is possible, but you need to select a single route site. Each site is setup differently. What information do you want returned to Excel? Will the information in Excel already be validated for accuracy? Please provide a few examples.
Sincerely,
Leith Ross

I dont mind which route finder i use any of them would do ... google maps is my favourite. Basically i have a matrix of postcode's and i need to be able to take two of them and enter them to the route finding site and extract the result back to the spreadsheet. The postcodes i have are only the first half of the postcode i.e. IG11 and i have checked that they are all correct so no need for data validation for the minute. YOUR HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!
Thanks
