I'll rewrite the thread as I have rewritten the topic title and I figured I wrote too many unnecessary things for my first question.
Is it possible to create a macro which will do three tasks once, every 24 hours, automatically:
1) "Refresh All" external data in an Excel document, then
2) Update a single cell with the date AND time the refresh was executed (overwrite the the cell which contains the last time and date the macro was excecuted), then
3) Add the new data into a single new entry in an Access database?
I can currently do this process but it takes minutes to complete, and I was wondering if a macro could do all this so I would simply be an observer rather than worker in this situation.
If so, that'd be great! (Please note: I have never been able to create a single, working macro in Excel before...)

I'm sorry, I started writing the title but went onto the text, and then forgot to return to the title again![]()
I'm still looking for a response please![]()
