I am not sure that this is the proper forum, so I am sorry if it is not.
I have created an Excel workbook within Excel 2007. I have created a data connection. The query that is able to be run from the spreadsheet has 2 fields that can be modified. These 2 fields are Begin Date and End Date. I have created a Date Picker where users can select their date range.
After creating the workbook, I save it as a .xlsm. When I reopen the workbook, I click Options... then enable the controls and the data connection.
For some reason my date controls look enlarged and disfigured. Whenever I scroll down until the controls are out of view then back up, the problem is fixed. I want to fix this because I do not want users of this workbook to think "why doesn't this look correct?"
What could be causing the problem? What can I do to fix the problem?
Please view these images to get a better understanding of what is occurring:
Before scrolling down and after enabling controls and data connection:

Hello SP Brian,
Looks like a another fly in the 2007 ointment. The bugs are so numerous in this OS, it is hard to keep up. Service Pack 2 corrects 238 known problems just in Excel. Do you have all the service packs installed?
Sincerely,
Leith Ross

Leith,
Thank you for your feedback. I checked into what you said, and I do currently have SP2 installed. To be more specific I have SP2 MSO (12.0.6425.1000). Any other issues that may be causing this?
Thanks,
Brian
Hello Brian,
I have been searching for other reports of this problem to no avail. One thing that can cause OLE objects to be rendered incorrectly is if the boundaries between objects are touching. Check that the boundary lines aren't touching or overlapping. Other than that, I don't have any other suggestions at this time.
Sincerely,
Leith Ross

Thank you for looking into this. I tried to problem-solve this yesterday as well and couldn't figure out anything. I did separate the controls and actually started from scratch without allowing the controls to be near each other, and the problem persists. If anyone else has any feedback, I would appreciate it.
Leith, thank you.
Anyone have any feedback on this issue?
