Arrow round item to list from another tab

    hi,

    i am currently using excel and ive come to a roadblock.

    i have a tab with a column of numbers (these are not set intervals). in another tab i have a formula to calculate from other data.

    my question is in another cell, i am trying to get excel to look at the calculated number and round it up to one of the numbers in the second tab with the column of numbers.

    for example,

    tab 1 contains:
    A1-A????
126248
154873
157819
875715
    | 741216 | etc.

    in tab 2:

    A1 = 137594 (this is already formulated to produce this number from other data).

    still in tab 2:

    A4 = ?????

    this is where im a little stuck as i want A4 (in tab 2) to look at A1-A??? (in tab 1) and find the next highest number.

    if anyone could help me out please.

    thank you for your time.
