I need help overriding an input / dialog box. When I reference an addin for Rand McNally miles it pulls miles from a city st to city st. When their is a county issue or duplicate city in a state, it prompts for which one you want in a list. The issue is that I run thousands of these and have to babysit the screen while it runs. When it encounters an issue, it stops and asks for input to which city. I usually hit cancel and deal with the exceptions after the fact.
The formula is just HHG2( input ). I use a loop in VBA to execute this code the desired amount of times for the number of city states I have.
Please help, if I can override this dialog box or set the default to cancel without asking, it would save a ton of time.
Hello rfarrell,
If these dialogs are generated by the Add-In, you will not be able to prevent them from popping up. Unless Rand-McNally has made some some flag you can set to do so. In which case, you will need to either check the software help files or contact Rand-McNally directly.
Sincerely,
Leith Ross
